Our story

Partisan is a vibrant, independent coffee shop, licensed restaurant and arts space on Micklegate in York.

At Partisan we serve breakfast, brunch, lunch and afternoon tea every day of the week - see here for our daytime menu.

We regularly host exhibitions for local and national artists. Feel free to enquire about any purchases you would like to make with a member of staff or get in touch.

Our menu

Our menu changes seasonally, working with local growers and producers wherever possible. We serve an all day breakfast/brunch menu and offer a great selection of chef's daily specials.

We also grow a lot of our own herbs and flowers at our arable farm on the edge of the Yorkshire Wolds.

All of our cakes, tarts and scones are made fresh every day in our kitchen, and gluten free and vegan options are always available.
